Birthday Party Tips

The biggest birthday party tip of all is to be flexible.   Let the party unfold naturally by making simple practical decisions in the moment to keep the fun flowing.

Other Birthday Party Tips include:

• Plan a date that will suit your family needs
• Be sure that best friends will be able to attend
• For school age children avoid distributing the invitations at school unless the whole class is attending
• For younger children 2 hours is plenty to incorporate a craft, snacks, birthday cake and gift opening
• The craft is best to be done at the beginning of the party giving paints and glue time to dry
• A table is recommended but chairs are not a necessity (often works better without chairs allowing the children room to move)
• Smocks are provided but is always good to inform your guests of a craft taking place
• Keep the camera handy
